Rambo: First Blood Part II

Rambo films might not seem like obvious properties to adapt to text adventure games, but this game started Angelsoft's string of licensed adaptations.

Take on the role of Sylvester Stallone's machine-gun-toting action hero in this text adventure game adaption (!) of the movie. Your mission is to free prisoners from a POW camp in Vietnam.

Your war was never over. And now you're going back. The parachute drops you into the middle of enemy territory. Your mission:

Prove the existence of American POWs in Vietnam
Don't engage the enemy
Leave it to the government to get them out.

But who could leave Americans in that hellhole? Not YOU, John Rambo.

Angelsoft, Inc. made 8 adventure games between 1985-87. As far as I can tell they no longer exist and no one owns the rights to these games. This site exists for the preservation of abandonware.
