This game was first released as a stand-alone title in 1983 before being remade with graphics and re-released as part of the Silicon Dreams trilogy in 1986.

The Snowball has been hijacked and is heading into the sun in the first of our "Silicon Dream" trilogy. Level 9 Computing went out of business in 1991. To my knowledge, no one owns the copyright to L9 games anymore and they are truly abandonware.
